Whats the difference between the 2 Bali retreats you offer?
The Soft Reset Retreat is shorter and slower-paced, limited excursions with lots of downtime allowing you to truly slow down, integrate, and rest. Opt for this one if you just want inner work and relaxation.
The Return to Self Retreat is longer, includes multiple excursions around Bali, and has a slightly faster pace—while still allowing some rest each day. Since there is more included in this retreat the price is slightly higher than the Soft Reset. Opt for this one if you want a blend between a Bali retreat and a Bali vacation.

What sort of accommodations can I expect on you trips?
We only book accommodations we would personally love to stay in. Expect clean, safe, and beautiful spaces—usually high-end hotels and villas that feel luxurious and comfortable, so you can fully relax and enjoy your trip.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! You can either pay for your trip in full or choose a 5-month payment plan. With the payment plan, your total trip cost is divided into equal monthly payments, automatically charged starting the day you set it up. There’s no interest—once all five payments are complete, you’re fully paid.

I want to get paid to travel--can I host my own trip with you?
Yes! We work with influencers and content creators to host custom trips. After a personal call to understand your travel style, vibe, and destination preferences, our team handles all the planning, client relations, bookings, and organization. You’re the face of the trip—responsible for promoting it and selling spots. In return, your trip is fully covered, including flights and accommodations, plus a daily stipend and a share of the profits. You can apply to work with us on our Work With Us page.

Who is welcomed on these trips?
Our trips are open to all women 21 and over. We are LGBTQ+ friendly. The only people we do not invite to travel with us are homophobes, transphobes, misogynists, racists/white supremacists of any kind. You get the idea. We have a strict code of conduct on these trips and anyone who endangers or harasses other guests will be asked to leave and no refunds given.

What happens after I book my trip?
Once your trip is booked, you will receive a welcome packet via email along with three waivers that must be signed and returned within 72 hours. Failing to submit your waivers within this timeframe may put your spot at risk. The welcome packet will cover everything you need to know about your trip, but you will also have access to us via email if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
At least one month before your trip or retreat, you’ll be added to a group chat on WhatsApp and Instagram, where the trip leader will also be available. This gives you direct access to ask any questions and connect with other travelers.

What's your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your booking within 72 hours for a refund of any payments made up to that point, minus non-refundable payment processing fees. After 72 hours, all payments are non-refundable.
We cannot accommodate cancellations after this window because we begin working on your trip immediately—securing accommodations, planning logistics, and holding your spot. Allowing late cancellations would make it difficult to rebook and ensure a smooth, seamless experience for all travelers.
For your protection, we strongly recommend travel insurance or trip protection, which can cover unforeseen cancellations.
Refunds after 72 hours are only possible if you provide an approved replacement to take over your spot and payments.

What else should I know about you?
We care about making a positive impact. We stand with a free Palestine, free Sudan, and free Congo, and donate a portion of each trip’s profits to these causes. In the future, we plan to run fundraising initiatives—like giveaways where guests can donate to a cause for a chance to win a free trip—so we can travel together while supporting meaningful work around the world.

Is Kindred Voyages a new company?
Kindred Voyages was formerly known as DM Retreats. However, since we’ve expanded, and offer more than just retreats now, that name no longer fits us so we decided to rebrand—but we are still the same company that has been planning and hosting world class retreats since 2020.
